Khondabi mentioned that she got married to Joey Scribner Howard, her love from high school, who is a mechanical engineering working in the energy industry. Khondabi claimed she and Joey began their relationship in the middle of school at Greenwood Christian School and were close friends for a long time before they began to date as senior at high school. Howard was a student who transferred out of Irmo to Dutch Fork High School and completed his education there, kept in touch with Khondabi. Khondabi and Joey started dating. Khondabi is a 2007 graduate of Emerald High School and a student at the University of South Carolina with a degree in broadcast journalism. Additionally, she studied in entertainment and sports.
